Please join me in extending a heartfelt thanks to Eric Murphy for his two years of service as Worshipful Master of Union Lodge #45. Eric rose to the occasion and accepted the mantle of W.:M.: straight from Junior Warden and gave his all to the position, regularly stretching his cabletow beyond what many of us would have been capable of.
Brothers and their ladies recently honored Worshipful Brother Murphy for his term of service along with his family, and presented him with his Past Master’s apron. Please enjoy the following pictures of the dinner and presentation!
We had the pleasure of raising three brothers this past Thursday, February 22. Our brother John Beiter was joined by brothers Tom McCullough (Olive Branch Lodge #39) and Joseph Lawrence (Nunda Station Lodge #682) for the degree which was led by Past-Master W.: Corey VanBlarcom! Everybody did a fantastic job from the meal prior to the degree through to the fellowship afterwards. We were pleased to have been joined by so many brothers from our district lodges for this special degree!
At our regular communication on February 9th, we were lucky enough to be joined by Boy Scouts from Lima and Mendon! We shared a festive board and then were witness to a fascinating presentation about the many links between Scouting and Freemasonry by our Brother Ken Samarra! It was a wonderful evening that will leave lasting memories with both scout and mason.
Please take a look at this great article from the Masonic Times! We couldn’t have had a better event and have the Bicentennial Committee, our Worshipful Master, the Grand Line officers, and all our many guests to thank for it!
Please assist me in congratulating Mike Grady on his well deserved reception of the Livingston Masonic District Meritorious Service Award! He received the award at our communion breakfast on May 15th, and as we are merging into the Letchworth district, he is formally the final ‘Livingston District’ recipient. Congratulations Mike!
This past Sunday – the 24th – a number of our brothers and their families got together to watch a pretty good football game and eat some delicious food! We set up our “big screen” TV and brought dishes to pass – thanks to everyone who attended, we all had a great time!
